Pets and Their Frequencies

Welcome to our section on Pets and their Frequencies. When you hear “pets” and “frequencies” in the same sentence, you might think of sounds that can sometimes disturb pets, such as loud noises. That would be partly correct. However, in this case, “frequencies” refers not only to sounds that may cause anxiety or discomfort, but also to other environmental factors that may influence the overall comfort and wellbeing of our animal friends. This page explains how certain frequencies may affect pets and introduces options that some pet owners explore to help support a calmer and more comfortable environment.

I’ve been a pet owner before, so I know from first-hand experience that certain frequencies can really affect pets. My last dog had major panic attacks whenever a storm came through. As soon as thunder started, he would shake, move to a carpeted area, and begin clawing at the floor. It often made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep during bad weather.

For years, we would watch the weather ahead of time and give our dog medication recommended by a vet to help keep him calmer during storms. Even though he never fully overcame his anxiety, we were always there to comfort him when it happened. Fireworks had a similar effect, which showed just how sensitive some pets can be to certain environmental triggers.

Aside from my own experience, I’ve known other dog owners who have had similar challenges with their pets. Beyond rough weather and loud noises, there are other frequencies that may affect pets in ways many people are not aware of. One example comes from electromagnetic fields, or EMF.

If you’ve read the EMF Protection page, you may already know that EMF refers to background energy emitted by everyday electrical devices around us. Cell phones, electric cars, kitchen appliances—just about anything that runs on electricity produces EMF. Not only are we exposed to EMF every day, but since we share our environment with our pets, they are exposed as well.

 tuün®.

If you’ve read our EMF Protection page, you may already know that some people look for ways to reduce exposure to disruptive frequencies for their pets. One option is the  tuün® from Velovita, a pendant designed for general frequency-related exposure from everyday devices. The tuün® can be used for both pets and people. It can be worn or attached to a pet’s collar like a tag. Some pet owners choose to use products like this as part of creating a calmer and more comfortable environment for their pets.

Frequencies are a natural part of the world around us, and pets can often be more sensitive to sounds and their environment than humans. By paying attention to their behavior and creating a calm and comfortable space, pet owners can help support their pets’ overall wellbeing. Some people choose to use the tuün® and other Velovita products, along with simple care and attention, to help make life easier and more relaxed for their pets. Every pet is different, and responses to environmental factors can vary depending on the animal and its surroundings. Small adjustments in daily routines and environment can also make a meaningful difference for pets over time.
